Working across five research themes, ICEPT undertakes a diverse portfolio of research and consultancy activity.
ICEPT research is problem focused, interdisciplinary, and at the interface of technology, policy and economics. ICEPT staff have backgrounds in engineering, economics, mathematics, natural sciences and applied social science. Our research draws upon expertise in energy system modelling, innovation theory, economics, technology assessment and policy analysis.
Frequent formal and informal interactions between the themes and researchers ensure transfer and rigorous appraisal of knowledge, data and understanding.
